finally knocked ‘midnight cowboy’ off my ‘jesus christ, you haven’t see that?’ list.  fantastic film that, oddly, made me wish i could’ve seen new york in the late 60s-early 70s.  not that mad men vibe, but the gutter hipster scene.  lord knows i would’ve likely gotten mugged or killed in the process though. up next is ‘badlands’ followed by ‘the seventh seal’
